Startech were pleased to be asked to provide the lighting for a wedding on New Years Eve at Worton Farm near Witney.

With two marquees and extensive gardens to light, our creative team worked closely with the customer to help create a truly memorable day.

The first marquee would encompass the pergola, where the ceremony would take place, and called for some subtle uplighters around the edges of the marquee along with highlighting the bushes and the pergola.

After the ceremony the guests would be able to take in the large garden which had been enchantingly lit with a combination of MBI’s and outdoor parcans as well as over 100 metres of LED fairy lights to bring the small orchard to life.
The second marquee would play host to the drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening entertainment.
The bar area was lit with LED battens to create a colour changing wall, with source 4 profiles installed to provide lighting for the rest of the reception area. In the dining area, every table was lit with pinspots suspended from the marquee to create a beautiful scene when it was revealed.

The evening entertainment needed a different approach and saw 6 LED moving head wash light and 6 LED profiles contolled via a Zero88 Leapfrog desk. This bought the party to live and was designed to work with both the band and disco in mind.

Thanks goes to all the Startech staff who worked to install this between Christmas and New Year, and especially to Peter Powell (Shanks) who designed the lighting throughout the venue and was on hand during the day and evening.
