Completion Ceremony
In celebration of the Eurostar rail service from London St Pancras a Completion Ceremony took place in a temporary structure close to the station hosting over 2,000 people.
Startech was responsible for supplying power for the catering and the installation and maintenance of emergency lighting throughout the event.
This involved over 40 tonnes of power cabling distribution, 20 generators, 120 units, 60 work lights and 40 illuminated signs. Decorative lighting was provided in four of the marquees and exhibition stands including umpteen plasma screens displaying information on the building of the new International Station were installed. Architectural lights illuminated the front of the marquee creating a dramatic entrance. Complete with crew working during the eight hour event to ensure smooth running on the night.
