Steeldeck
‘Steeldeck’ and ‘Litedeck’ are both industry standard rostra and both comply with the latest structural guidelines and health and safety legislation. Steeldeck is a flexible product allowing our clients to specify a broad range of shapes, sizes and heights. Steeldeck uses scaffolding legs which insures construction is simple, quick and safe. We have a large stock of legs for the most common stage heights 1ft, 18 inches, 2ft, 3ft and adjustable legs for others that may be required. We hold a range of access steps, stage skirts and handrails to suit most applications and allow almost every staging configuration to be achieved. Steeldeck is constructed from a steel framework with a plywood top giving maximum strength, each 8ft x 4ft deck weighing 78Kg. We recommend Steeldeck for most uses including outdoor events, Litedeck is a very similar product to Steeldeck but is constructed from Aluminum and only weighs 55 Kg per 8 ft x 4 ft section.
Our staging services are divided into two main types: firstly the rental option where our customers contact us with their needs and we supply the necessary decking, steps and stage skirts. Our rental service can include delivery and collection to an address of your choice. Our 8ft x 4ft Steeldeck units are 78kg per unit so those customers wishing to take this rental option should realise they will need to supply two crew to unload any Steeldeck from our vehicles, our delivery prices are based on delivery to curbside only. Those customers wishing to collect equipment from our premises please be aware of the weight and size of the equipment you are intending to collect. When considering the rental option please beware if a driver’s mate is required for delivery or collection there will be an additional charge. The second staging option is to instruct StarTech to design, install and remove the stage you require. This is often a more convenient, simpler and easier solution. We have crew who are experienced in working with and building our staging systems, our prices for these services are favorable and you will find the StarTech crew helpful, knowledgeable and experienced.
