Formula 1

Startech are not only well known for setting up exhibitions and conferences for large multi-national companies but also get to work for Formula 1 sponsors!

Startech travelled to Circuito de Jerez in Southern Spain tasked with constructing a temporary bridge above the Formula 1 racetrack to suspend an advertisement.

Access restrictions caused by the track being used during daylight hours resulted in the 60' x 19' bridge being constructed overnight by spotlight. Due to the size and exposed position of the bridge it was very vulnerable to the elements. In order to counteract the force of the wind our team fitted 120 litre water tank weights and attached steel guy lines to secure the structure.

Once in place the advert was boldly prominent from all areas of the track and easily resistant to the wind pressure.
